An Italian apparel brand founded in 1975 by designer Massimo Osti. Initially called Chester Perry. The C.P. Company has become a brand laboratory that conducts research and design with passion and boundless curiosity. Sourcing materials from every corner of the world and continuously experimenting with new manufacturing techniques, it has in its 40-year history produced over 40,000 garments, each reflecting C.P. Company’s core philosophy – Function and Use.
This is flanked by constant research into production processes. Traditional fabrics and designs are re-interpreted using innovative fibres and sophisticated technologies, making each piece more dynamic and exclusively individual. Once produced, every garment is taken through C.P. Company’s experimental dye workshop and printing laboratory, where many new found raw materials are dyed, printed on, washed and treated, all in varied ways to create the ultimate C.P. Company product.
The experimentation never ends, resulting in collections that overstep the boundaries of fashion and stimulate reflection, sometimes with deliberate provocation. In a day and age where clothing is seen as a form of personal identity and expression, exhibiting Function and Use has become symbolic of individuality, and C.P. Company believes that those core philosophies are as relevant today as they ever have been.
